Fight the Gondola Fundraiser

Show your support against the gondola and for the Friends of Alta / Canyon Guard Lawsuit!

The Fight the Gondola Fundraiser is an event created to help fund the lawsuit filed by Friends of Alta (FOA), Canyon Guard, and a coalition of individuals and organizations to stop UDOT’s planned Gondola in Little Cottonwood Canyon.  The goal of the fundraiser is not only to raise money but to raise awareness of the inaccuracies of the gondola being the right choice for Little Cottonwood Canyon (LCC).

During the event we will have a 2024 on the hill recap, a preview of the 2025 legislative season, & gondola facts.You’ll have the opportunity to enter the opportunity drawing for some amazing prizes, which includean e-bike from Cranky's Bike Shop, backpacks from Osprey & Black Diamond, Sunday brunch for two from Alta Lodge, climbing passes from The Scratch Pad, sunglasses, and more!

While Friends of Alta will take every measure to consolidate and reduce costs, the reality is that this lawsuit will be extremely costly. We are a small non-profit going up against well-funded opposition and we need your help to level the playing field!
